<div><strong> </strong>Lakou Cafe is a Haitian-American fusion cafe located in Weeksville, Brooklyn (the first historically black neighborhood in Brooklyn). Our menu consists of espresso-based drinks, smoothies, coffee, juices, sandwiches, salads, crepes, and plates. We have a vegan-friendly menu, where about half of our food items are vegan. Additionally, we are known for our rotating art, community activism, and fun events to bring the community together. We also offer Haitian catering services to the nearby areas including corporate event catering, and more. Ultimately, we aim to be an oasis in Brooklyn where residents can gather to nourish their bodies and souls. Hot, delicious Haitian coffee and flakey vegan pastries. What more does one need?
This establishment continues to reinvent its self. I love this menu and the food continues to not disappoint. Get the salmon and fried chicken entrée plus all the sauces and sides. Chefs Kiss
The service is a bit shaky but overall good coffee beverages and quick breakfast bites.
