  • Cranky Granny’s Sweet Rolls

You may have heard of this Pepsi Dig In winner whose sweet rolls gained virality and sensation on the internet. Let us be the ones to confirm for you that Cranky Granny's Sweet Rolls are the business! Regardless of which flavor you choose, you can't go wrong. Be sure to try the sweet potato pie roll or the strawberry shortcake roll.

  • Whip My Soul

This husband and wife duo is serving up some of the best soul food you can get in the Austin area. Everything tastes like it's made with love. They put the cheese in mac and cheese and the chicken crunches back. Don't leave without a collard green egg roll and make sure you ask for a side of their Chicago Mild Sauce with your chicken!

  • Krab Kingz Seafood Austin

A seafood spot with lunch specials, what more do you need? We like the krab and shrimp platter with extra butter.

  • Down South CaJJun Eats

If you're looking for a place with good eats and great music, this is the place for you. This is the place to be if you're looking for nightlife and food on a Friday or Saturday night.

  • Luv Fats Ice Cream

Vegan ice cream made from avocados. They have a rotating menu with flavors that are simply out of this world so there's always something new to try.

  • Bird Bird Biscuit

This place has mastered the art of delicious, buttery, flaky biscuits and paired it with perfectly fried chicken. Add to that their fried dough and you're in heaven.

  • Canje

A modern take on Caribbean cuisine, Canje offers diners Caribbean fare that is packed with flavor and beautifully plated. Be sure to make a reservation!

  • Distant Relatives

This is far from your average Texas BBQ. Infusing flavors of the diaspora in great BBQ, you'll have a hard time going back to "traditional" bbq. And they're conveniently located at a brewery so bring everyone!

  • Crimson Creek Smokehouse

Known for their Tomahawk Ribeye, their smoked meats are out of this world. Our fav is the insanely juicy turkey breast - it's so juicy, we'll get this over red meat any day. They're located at Deep Eddy so you can make a day of it.

  • Mama A’s

Jamaican food with whole ingredients. The only thing better than the healthier approach to the food, is the "fusion" dishes that she has. Our favorite hands down are the oxtail birria tacos with jerk consume. Be sure to catch her on Tuesdays.
