While visiting Austin, 3 of us dined on a Sunday afternoon. The food not only whips the soul, but makes you shout “Sweet Baby Jesus!” The staff was pleasant & the vibes were good. If you want a delicious meal, you MUST dine at Whip My Soul!
The staff is very polite and friendly, food is made with love, being from out of town, nothing like home cooked food that's delicious!!!
This place is phenomenal. As a Charleston, SC native living in Austin, I yearn for authentic soul food from time to time without having to make it myself. The wings tho! The pork chop tho! They have a shrimp and crab mac and cheese egg roll…spectacular! Those are some of my favorites but honestly, it’s a lot to choose from. I caught myself ordering every other week for about two consecutive months and had to take a break. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The owner is almost always there to greet you with a smile. It seems like back at home visiting your own family’s restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
