Met an ex coworker for lunch. Just a FYI, the veggies are al carte. The food was the bomb. The drinks were good, and the bartender did not skimp on the alcohol. Yes, I said lunch, but it was 5 o'clock somewhere. I will definitely go back. I had the pork chops, sweet potatoes, greens, cornbread, and a crab cake appetizer. It was stuffed with crabs. I wish I had room for dessert. Maybe next time. Upscale and black owned. What's not to like.
Went here with my LB and he accidentally booked us for the wrong day. Luckily they weren’t too busy and they were able to sit us at the bar. The wait wasn’t too bad and the food was good. I’ll be going back.
