<div>ABOUT THE WING GURU<br><br></div><h1>Our founder Billy Richmond Jr. began perfecting the art of the hot wing at the young age of 9 years old. He learned the basics of delivering quality service and food from his father Billy Richmond Sr. who continues to serve the Memphis community for over 20 years now.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>After pursuing his passion for basketball both in the collegiate (Vanderbilt University and The University of Memphis) and professional circuits (overseas), he returned home to Memphis TN in 2016 where the first Wing Guru location was opened at 5699 Mt. Moriah Rd. The Wing Guru exceeded expectations early on by winning the Orange Park statewide hot wing festival grand championship out of Florida.<br>&nbsp;<br>In 2016 The Wing Guru won most creative sauce for the now world-famous honey suicide sauce at the Santa Anita hot wing cook-off. That same year The Wing Guru was named the #6 hot wing restaurant by the wing experts. In 2017, the Wing Guru became the official Chicken Wing partner of The University of Memphis, Billy’s alma mater! The Wing Guru quickly expanded (due to customer demand) in 2018 opening a second storefront located at 7199 Stage Road in Bartlett, TN, and has a third location opening in December of 2019 located at 7090 Malco Blvd, Southaven, MS. With more locations soon to follow by the end of 2020.<br>&nbsp;<br>The Wing Guru’s menu offers 21 flavors of wings including the World-Famous Honey Suicide, Garlic Sriracha, lemon pepper hot, and most recently the Triple J, developed in partnership with Memphis Grizzlies power forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr.<br>&nbsp;<br>The Wing Guru has something for everyone with its offering of non-sauced wings, fried catfish, and gourmet Burgers.<br>Come take a load off and try us for the 1st or 1,000th time – we don’t think you’ll be disappointed.</h1>
