Been looking for a Caribbean eatery since moving to Texas. Now I have been for 2 straight weeks and looking forward to the 3rd.

Being Jamaican and moving to Dallas where there isn't much culture, I was thoroughly surprised that The Island Spot was amazing. The owners and cooks are Jamaican which is huge. My favorite dish is oxtails with rice and peas and I almost always get the Hurricane Gilbert drink. Love this place.
