I love this place! The staff is friendly and the food was top notch. I had the Jerk Chicken and Waffles while my friend had a vegan dish that I can’t quite remember. I can’t wait to pull up again!
(Just gotta remember to get there early)
Yoooo, this needs to be your 1st stop entering atl
Located 5 min from ATL airport, this breakfast and brunch spot was everything I could want. The catfish and grits hands down is on my top ten list. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the ownership and menu. I got there early, so I was able to be seated right away but when I left around 10:30am every seat was taken and a line out the door. I suggest you create a reservation! Happy eating.
We decided to go spontaneously and without a reservation. The attendant was welcoming. friendly and charming. She then told un they were fully booked but if we wanted to wait 15 minutes they might have a cancellation and we could have that table. We hesitantly waited (because I don’t wait for food). Thank Gawd we waited. It was our lucky day. Every staff member we made contact with were friendly and welcoming. The music was awesome and you couldn’t avoid tapping your feet and even sanding a verse or two. Our server, Keisha was awesome and fun. Our dishes were amazing and most flavorful. I had Crispy Catfish, Shrimp and Grits. Outstanding and delicious. I highly recommend this establishment. But make reservations, you might not be as lucky as we were.
A chalkboard sign in a window says reservations recommended. My husband and I were visiting Atlanta and went for brunch mid week. We were able to get a lovely umbrella covered table outside, but saw a constant stream of patrons.
The food and service was wonderful. My husband had the grits and catfish and he is not a grits person. He loves his entree. I had a veggie omelet with a side salad. The seasonings and vegetables uses complimented each other. I also had the peach tea. Housemate 😋
Keyshia was our server. She was personable and service was excellent.
We took home two desserts. Hummingbird cake (spice cake with nuts) and a lemon lime pound cake ( when I was growing up a 7 up cake) but I tasted real lemon and lime in their pound cake.
