I had the Steak & Soy Egg Ramen (Chimichurri-shoyu broth, soy egg, crispy shallots, sesame, leeks) and a glass of Sparkling Caramelized Pear & Kombu. The food was delicious, satisfying, and flavorful. The ambiance of the ramen shop was so inviting and Chef Rasheeda Purdie was very personable! I dream of coming back to NYC just to have more of Chef Purdie’s ramen!!
Ramen by Ra is a true gem! The bacon, egg, and cheese ramen is out of this world - the lard-shoyu broth is rich and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the smoked bacon, seasoned egg, Parmesan, and scallions. The intimate space makes for a cozy dining experience. You can really taste the high-quality, thoughtfully-sourced ingredients in every bite.
