Eat healthy and feel soulful. The greens are wonderful, the mac and cheese incredible, and the fried chicken and beef steak delicious—all prepared without animal products. If you’re not sure, ask for a taste. Next time I go, it’s curried chicken with rice.

NuVegan has been on my list for a while. I finally had my chance and plan to go back. I ordered the BBQ tofu with brown rice entree, "tuna" macaroni salad and "chicken" salad sides. Of course I HAD to try their red velvet cake. The portion sizes are HUGE! The BBQ tofu is reminiscent of beef tips without the cruelty. The sauce was spot on. My favorite was the "chicken" salad. I would buy that on its own and put on raisin bread to make THE most delicious sandwiches. The single layer red velvet cake was dense and moist. I'm more a thick layer of cream cheese icing fan on my RVC but it wasn't a bland icing at all. It provided a nice touch of sweetness with every bite. I can't wait to try their lasagna! Great value, huge portions, black, and vegan. Yes please!
