The food here is like a warm hug from my aunts and uncles. Once you’re a regular, they’ll remember you and ask about family, work, the friend you came in the last few times… basically this is an awesome neighborhood spot that will make your day with delectable dishes, southern specialties all with a comfortable atmosphere.
Ms Mabel isn’t the usual cook but she was walking around chopping it up with everyone there. That chicken biscuit it great! There grits surprised me and I actually liked them. I don’t normally like grits at too many places. But back to the biscuit, it’s flaky, chicken got some flavor to it. Also got the spinach and chicken omelette which was really good!
The food and service was excellent. They let try some lemonade with Basil & Mint- omg!!!
Everything here is great. ESPECIALLY THE BASIL LEMONADE!!!!! It’s amazing. Then there’s the food...my reco is the fish and grits. Super service. Perfect prices. Fantastic food.
