When visiting family in New York I frequently either eat in or pick up from Melba’s . The food is consistently good . The greens are outstanding . Chicken is fried to perfection . The waffle should not be as good as it is. The staff is excellent . The re is a gentleman host that is amazing . I came to pick up one day and there was a slight issue with my order. He handled it with no problem and made me feel so comfortable . My last time in my husband and I sat at the bar since we did not make a reservation . The bartender was friendly and fun. The music also gives the place such a nice vibe . I love it here .
