I LOVE what they've got going on at Ina Mae! Everything - food, drinks, dessert (HOLY SH*T the dessert) - Everything was delicious. We split the boiled seafood tower, and whatever magic they put in the broth was just amazing. Due to COVID-19, however, they're not offering cracking utensils for the crab legs, so you'll just have to channel your inner mermaid/man and get creative. Totally worth it! The biegnets are freshly made, and the pies from Justice of the Pies are to die for. Basil Key Lime pie? Get it in your FACE. Thank you so much for offering up your talents and love, Team Ina Mae!
Pros: outdoor seating, walk-up window to the bar
Cons: I just did not enjoy the food- I started with the crab dip appetizer, which was almost missing crab; the fried chicken was dry and lacking flavor; macaroni and cheese was nothing to write home about; greens were way too salty; and for dessert, my beignets were raw and doughy on the inside.
I wouldn’t normally write a lackluster review about a Black-owned business, but decided to jot down my experience here, as well as let you all know that this restaurant is only “partially Black-owned”. I will not be back. Thanks
