Absolutely divine
Came here with hubby while visiting DC for the weekend. Awesome family-run business. The owners are so friendly and patient. We were a little indecisive about what we wanted, but they went through the entire menu with us and made great suggestions (though I鈥檓 sure everything on the menu is good). We had the jerk salmon cheesesteak, the blue crab burger with the Japanese sweet potatoes and grilled romaine salad. Literally everything was delicious. Definitely will be coming back next time I鈥檓 in town. 馃構
Excellent. Love the crab burger. Sweet potatoes were beyond delicious and the grilled romaine salad was fresh and not over dressed.
The food is incredible and the staff is so welcoming felt like home.
FishScale is the the best local restaurant in DC. I eat here at least once a week. It鈥檚 the only place that I can go where I feel like I鈥檓 getting comfort food without feeling unhealthy and sluggish. The flavors are immaculate and the customer service is top notch. I would personally recommend everything on the menu but my favorite condiment combo is pesto paired with grilled onions. Do yourself a favor and try FishScale. You won鈥檛 regret it!
A very delightful restaurant! Food was scrumptious! Customer was superior! Restaurant was clean and inviting! A very enjoyable experience . This is a great place to go if you are looking for health options.
I鈥檝e been a loyal customer from the beginning. The chef got his beginning at BlackSalt and is well trained. I鈥檝e never had a bad meal and I know they are careful about their supply chain. And although they won鈥檛 give out their recipe from conversations in past I believe the fish burger without the bun in zero WW points which is an added plus. I love supporting independent quality owned restaurants. This one is not to be missed.

Fishscale is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. Love the fish burgers which are made by the chef from fresh fish. The crab burger and the Chesapeake cheesesteak are also amazing and both are in my regular rotation. The spicy sambal sauce takes the burgers over the top and gives the burgers some zing. Service is excellent and the owners are very friendly. A great find especially for a pescatarian diet.
The food is great and never disappoints. Fresh fish burgers with no fillers. Simple sides that delight the pallet. The chef has really thought about every detail with very complex flavors that keep you coming back for more!
This place is amazing! I have literally tried everything on the menu at least twice; the flavor and consistency has always been amazing. I would highly recommend this place to any and all fish lovers. You will not be disappointed!
FishScale has amazing fishburgers. You will get fresh and quality seafood. I have tried everything on the menu, from the Sockeye Salmon, Rockfish, Crab, and more. I learn about new fish everytime I go because they're always providing new and fresh options.
