The chicken here is roasted, NOT fried, and it is the most flavorful chicken you’ll taste. It pairs perfectly with the waffle. I enjoy the food every time I come. Seating is limited, but there is some outdoor seating. You may also want to get a dessert while here—the cheesecakes are divine!

I LOVE Slice of Soul! Great food and service with a personal touch. I recommend the Al B. Green pizza and the wings, however the entire menu should be sampled. Nestled between the medical district and Midtown, it is truly a gem!
