Our mission is to share a taste of our culture in every bite by providing fresh and quality food that is full of authenticity. We believe in putting out the highest quality products and customer service possible.<br><br></div><div>This Caribbean restaurant has gained a great reputation for delivering mouth-watering Jamaican food for many special occasions. In December of 2005, the City of Inglewood nominated Ackee Bamboo Jamaican Cuisine for Caribbean Heritage Week & Taste of the Caribbean, the best tasting Caribbean Food in Los Angeles. Ackee Bamboo has catered several organizations across southern California such as The American Red Cross, Chase Bank, KCET, CRLA — California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc., PBS (Public Broadcasting Service), and many more. We take pride in what we offer and the privilege having served our community for over 16 years. <br><br></div>

To start I’ve only ever had Ackee here at this establishment, and this place has set a standard for how delicious and mouthwatering they cook their Ackee. Perfectly buttery and almost a melt in your mouth texture goes so well with the mixture of tomatoes and onions they are cooked with. This is always my experience when I order the Ackee Plate so I highly suggest you start with that! My next dish was the Jackfruit Stew, the chef herself suggested this dish for me to try, being that I’m vegan. She was absolutely correct because, wow! First taste and I received a smoky yet subtle sweetness to the broth and the jackfruit was prepared so that it still retained its sweetness. Most of the time jackfruit is prepared in a savory “meaty” kind of way. But the style of cook that was served to me showed me a whole new way of viewing this tropical fruit. 10/10 every dish
Authentically scrumptious Jamaican food, genuinely pleasant service!
Best Jamaican food I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever! Highly recommend. Their jerk chicken slips off of the bone and melts in your mouth.
