Let's be honest, who doesn't love lemonade? This spot also happens to have some tasty dishes. Grab a smoked turkey leg and a lemonade next time you make it to Tallahassee.
Earley's Kitchen is a combination of comfort food classics and diner style breakfast with soul. Their specialty is oxtail and it definitely shows. Hand carved to perfection and made from scratch, you can definitely taste the love in the food.
Comfort food classics with a twist and a witty name for every single dish. I would definitely recommend the "Love on a Two-Way Street," which is a red velvet-infused take on Chicken & Waffles.
This is place is known for fresh pineapple bowls and toppings. The Caribbean flavors run deep and their creative take on some island-inspired dishes is the best part of dining here. I would definitely recommend trying the patties. You won't regret it.
I have only recently discovered how much I love the unique flavors of African dishes. I would recommend the Swahili, especially if you like a sweet curry. It's also a must to try the Jollof rice. I'm looking forward to running up and down the menu.
Olean's was a staple for breakfast when I was in Tallahassee. It's like going home to your grandmother's house and having a plate waiting on you. Good ole home cooking. Barack Obama had a meal here, so it must be good, right? I make a stop here every time I'm in the city.
G&G is simply the best traditional Caribbean food in Tallahassee. Jerk, oxtail, curry, brown stew and all the fixins. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
If I could eat BBQ Ribs every day while in Tallahassee, I would get it from Smokin' Lo's. It's as simple as that.
If you love Haitian Food, it's a must that you stop through 509. I'm addicted to Pikliz now.
I had to add something light and fun in the mix. Pop Fun Chew Cafe is a specialty spot that creates unique and delicious popcorn flavors. Known for their charitable programs, this spot is the cure to a sweet tooth.
Go to The Social Vegan for the vegan tacos. Stay for the seasoned fries.
You can eat great here on a college student's budget. This is BBQ made great and affordable.
